I currently work at Nira Energy, where I develop software that helps renewable energy developers find the best sites for utility-scale energy projects on the electrical grid.

In my free time, I write on an eclectic range of topics on my blog.

My favorite paintings come from the Dutch Golden Age. I'm a big fan of their treatment of light and shadow, and I enjoy the visual depth and occasional whimsy of their still lifes.
